Founded in 1981, with about 46
members, Augusta Chapter is a busy one with at least one or two activities
every month, including lunches, stitch-ins, workshops, classes, and outreach
work.

Meeting Information |
Regular meetings are held the
first Monday of each month, 7:30 - 9:00 P.M., at the First Alliance Church,
2801 Ingleside Drive, Augusta, GA.
A monthly
program is held after the business meeting. A variety of needlework
techniques are introduced.

Membership |
Annual dues are $45.00.
|

Guests |
Guests may attend two meetings
before joining the chapter.
|

Special Interest Groups |
Stitch-ins are held
monthly on
the third Wednesday morning.
|
|
Outreach |
Outreach activities include a
traveling exhibit at places such as libraries; making items for premature
babies at the local hospital; and programs for children.
An "outreach Saturday" is held
once a quarter where members meet to create beautiful and appreciated
hats, booties, gowns, blankets, and bereavement gowns to add to the pieces
made at home during the quarter.
