Master Craftsman Programs

EGA offers eleven Master Craftsman programs, including beading, canvas embroidery, color for needlework, counted thread embroidery, crewel embroidery, design for needlework, plain and fancy needlework, quilting, silk and metal thread embroidery, smocking, and surface embroidery.   The program's purpose is to reward those who demonstrate mastery of each technique, enabling them to reach excellence in needlework.

Candidates are responsible for finishing each of six steps in order, with the last step culminating in the creation of an original design.
